EYV 2011 stops to Copenhagen for a 3-day fun, dynamic and interactive event between 1 and 3 August 2011

Copenhagen welcomes the European Year of Volunteering 2011 Tour Stop to Denmark with an event organised for this occasion on Axel Torv square, one of the most centric locations of the city, close to the entrance of the Tivoli Garden.

Ms Benedikte Kjaer, Minister for Social Affairs, opened the 3-day event. The Tour Stop will provide volunteers and organisations involving volunteers (OIVs) with an opportunity to exhibit achievements, give live demonstrations, meet one another and raise awareness of volunteering to visitors. The event’s programme also will include life music performances and will have quite a few sport related activities.
